Our Democracy is resilient but is often subjected to assault by those who would test the waters of autocracy to break down the constitutional safeguards that protect us from tyranny. CBFD is dedicated to defending our democratic process by providing opportunities for communities to obtain information about upcoming elections and candidates for local, state and national elected office.

CBFD supports and promotes protests and rallies. We support electoral and other activities that promote transparency and morality in government. Studies have shown the the most effective way to influence voters is by talking with them. Thus, our primary activities are phone banking, canvassing, calling elected officials and protesting.

CBFD was created to use grassroots organizing to bring our government back to the democratic ideal that our founding fathers envisioned for the United States - a system that is fair for the majority and recognizes the needs of the minority.
